JoAnn is a safety and health professional with 35+ years of diversified experience covering many industries. She has worked in Chemical, Distribution, Electronics, Food, Pharmaceutical, and R&D.

Her formal education and qualifications are diverse. She has a B.S.E. in Broadfield Occupational Safety from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. She also holds a number of certifications, including: CSP: 34644, ASP: 25061, CIT: 10446, and CHMM: 130704. Her affiliations are American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), American Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP), American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

JoAnn is results oriented. She specializes in designs and implementations concerning cost effective solutions to regulatory challenges for businesses and industries. Her background in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001 has positioned her to help businesses integrate safety and health practices into their operations.

She has also developed, implemented, and audited process safety management programs and risk management plans in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries. She further served on community advisory panels to strengthen the bond of understanding between the community and the industrial sector.

JoAnn has hands-on experience in performing compliance audits, safety management system assessments, development and delivery of safety and health training, and program development and plan implementation from C-suite to the shop floor.
