Overview & Objectives
The Advanced Asbestos Awareness for General Industry safety course from Exceed Safety is an advanced-level course designed to meet the annual OSHA 1910.1001 and Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) regulatory requirements, as well as teach environmental standards and best management practices.
NOTICE: Included is the 2-hour time requirement by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) engaged in custodial or maintenance work. Maintenance and custodia staff conducting activities that may result in the disturbance of asbestos-containing building material (ACBM) must receive an additional 14 hours of training.
