The Cadmium Awareness for General Industry online training is designed for all those within the General Industry sector who require training regarding avoidance of this dangerous metal. Participants can expect to discuss sources of Cadmium, as well as signs of exposure, OSHA standards (as established by Subpart Z 29 CFR 1910.1027 for General Industry), as well as overall safety promotion.
Exceed Safety’s Cadmium Awareness for General Industry training is designed to teach workers essential knowledge regarding Cadmium and the dangers associated with it. Participants can expect to discuss common routes of exposure, such as electroplating, removing paint containing cadmium, or exposed batteries. Additionally, participants will learn important signs, symptoms, and exposure response. Specific course topics include the following:
