Overview & Objectives
With the number of wildfires each year in California on the rise, it’s never been more important for employees and employers across the state to be prepared. Designed for all professionals who work in California’s outdoor workplaces, the Cal Wildfire Smoke Safety and Emergency Regulation for All Industries course provides an easy way to prepare for the dangers of smoke inhalation and more. This online safety course addresses general smoke safety awareness and the emergency regulations set forth by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), better known as Cal/OSHA.
This 70-minute Cal/OSHA wildfire smoke safety and emergency regulation course is based on Cal/OSHA’s Emergency Regulation to Protect Outdoor Workers from Wildfire Smoke and provides important information on wildfire response and more. Course topics include:

- Cal/OSHA’s July 29th, 2019 Emergency Regulation to Protect Outdoor Workers from Wildfire Smoke
- Standards listed under Appendix A and B of Section 5141.1 for employers subject to Cal/OSHA Emergency Regulations
