Overview & Objectives
The Methylenedianiline (MDA) Awareness for General Industry course from Exceed Safety is an introductory-level training designed for all those who may work with or encounter MDA on the jobsite. MDA is an extremely hazardous chemical that must be treated with caution and requires safe work procedures and training as established by OSHA Subpart Z 29 CFR 1910.1050 for General Industry.
Exceed Safety’s Methylenedianiline (MDA) Awareness for General Industry course reviews OSHA standards governing working with or around MDA, as well as the effects of both acute and chronic exposure. Furthermore, participants can expect to learn the three most common routes of exposure, medical surveillance, and monitoring. Specific course topics include the following:
- Introduction to MDA
- Properties and effects of exposure to MDA
- Quizzes 1 & 2
- Safety requirements surrounding MDA
