Overview & Objectives
This is an intermediate online safety course specifically designed to teach participants about safeguards for mobile operations and different platforms in regards to Federal OSHA standards. Participants of the Motorized Mobile Platforms for Construction course focuses on the prevention of injury by providing the most up-to-date understanding of equipment, systems, and procedures used in mobile operations.
Students participating in the Motorized Mobile Platforms for Construction online course will learn how to maintain efficient operations while increasing productivity and avoiding accidents when using aerial lifts or motorized mobile platforms. Course topics include the following:
- Introduction to mobile platforms and aerial lifts
- Dangers associated with mobile platforms
- General types of platforms

- Forklift mountain personnel baskets
