Overview & Objectives
The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Awareness course from Exceed Safety is an introductory level training that examines the NPDES permit program and how it regulates and controls the discharge of pollutants from point sources throughout the United States. Throughout this training, participants can expect to understand the need for NPDES permits, the different types, and when one is required to ensure pollutants do not adversely affect water quality or people’s health.
