Overview & Objectives

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course provides a proven path to receiving an OSHA student completion card from the Department of Labor (DOL)/Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Outreach Training Program. With a convenient online course, construction workers, managers, employers, and related personnel receive the training in job site hazards, protection, and safety culture needed to avoid workplace accidents, injuries, and deaths. Upon completion, all course participants will receive a certificate of completion right away and earn their Department of Labor (DOL)/OSHA 30-Hour Card shipped within two weeks, allowing them to seek or maintain employment in construction.

NOTICE: If you are in the state of NY and are looking to meet the requirements for your SST certification, you will need to register for the OSHA 30 Voice Authentication version to complete your training.

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course prepares workers, managers, and employers to recognize, avoid, abate, and prevent health and safety hazards commonly encountered on construction worksites. Course topics include:

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course is ideal for construction workers and any individual with construction site safety responsibilities, including:

This course is not appropriate for construction workers or management working in New York City and subject to NYC Department of Buildings (NYCDOB) LL196 online course proctoring requirements.

Features & Benefits

Upon completion of the OSHA 30-Hour Construction course, participants will be ready to recognize, avoid, abate, and prevent most construction job site hazards. Additionally, they will better understand worker’s rights and employer responsibilities. All successful course participants will receive:

  • A certificate of completion that verifies a passing score of at least 70%
  • Three (3) Continuing Education Units from an accredited IACET provider
  • A plastic wallet DOL/OSHA 30-Hour completion card

Every individual will be given three chances to pass the course’s final test, and immediate feedback is provided when wrong answers are submitted.

You must complete the course evaluation at the end of the course to receive a certificate of completion. Every participant must complete the 30-hour course within six months of the start date.

After you meet passing requirements, our proven process makes it easy to get your DOL/OSHA 30-Hour card. We’ll record your score and submit reports of successful course completions to the DOL and OSHA for each participant. Cards will be sent to us for signing and distribution, after which we’ll mail yours directly to you. In general, DOL/OSHA 30-Hour Cards arrive within two weeks after completion of your course.
