Overview & Objectives
The Scaffold Safety Awareness for Construction online training from Exceed Safety is an introductory-level safety course that will discuss the principles of supported, rolling, suspending, and ladder jack scaffolds. Participants will learn the varying types of scaffold systems used throughout the construction industry, as well as the dangers associated with and the requirements for specific scaffold systems.
Exceed Safety’s Scaffold Safety Awareness for Construction online training is designed to teach participants the roles of competent persons and the training needed to use scaffolds in a construction work environment. Promoting scaffold safety awareness, participants can expect to learn the dangers and requirements associated with using scaffolds, as well as types of scaffolds, and more. Specific course topics include the following:
- Introduction to scaffold safety in construction
- General safety measures for scaffolds
- Special types of scaffolds used
Participants can expect to apply OSHA regulations regarding scaffold safety throughout the duration of this course.

In Person Training
Participants in this in-person class can expect to be engaged with discussions, collaboration from other members of the course, team building experiences, and interactive learning. All our instructors have years of experience in the field and are highly qualified and skilled. We offer some classes via Zoom (just give us a call for more information). Some classes can be combined with virtual-blended learning, as well.
