Overview & Objectives
The Signalperson Certification Test Prep course is an introductory level course designed to prepare participants who will work with and/or around mobile and overhead crane operations. This course encompasses everything from communication and signaling to crane dynamics and proper operations in order to better inform participants about potential hazards, while preparing them for the signalperson exam.
Signalperson Certification Test Prep training is designed to prepare participants to work with and around mobile and overhead crane operations. Specific course topics are reinforced through supplemental workbooks and include the following:
- Crane hand signals
- Crane voice signals
- Crane types, components, and use cases
- Working within different operating conditions
- Potential hazards within crane operations
- Practice signalperson exam
