Overview & Objectives
The Vinyl Chloride Awareness for General Industry course from Exceed Safety is an introductory-level training designed to bring awareness to the potentially hazardous industrial chemical, Vinyl Chloride. Participants can expect to learn the requirements as established by OSHA Subpart Z 29 CFR 1910.1017, as well as learn about the chemical, its uses, and the permissible exposure limits (PELs). Furthermore, primary routes of exposure, as well as symptoms of both acute and chronic exposure will be discussed.
Exceed Safety’s Vinyl Chloride Awareness for General Industry course teaches participants the primary uses and properties of Vinyl Chloride. Furthermore, participants can expect to learn the recommended exposure controls and the requirements for exposure monitoring, training, spillage, and storage.
