Craig has years of experience in Environmental Health. After growing up on a farm in western North Carolina, he enlisted in the Army, initially spending two years active duty in the Army and an additional two years in the Colorado Army National Guard. After his time in the military, Craig pursued formal education, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health.
Craig began his EHS career working for local government agencies, managing household hazardous waste. Since then, he has worked in hazardous waste, servicing customers in the biopharmaceutical and heavy industrial sectors. He transitioned to consulting, contracting exclusively with the EPA, which supported the Office of Research and Development and their satellite facilities on their hazardous waste and researcher safety training. Later he accepted a role as an EHS professional. From here Craig advanced from an EHS manager to a regional, corporate, and finally global director of health and safety.
Craig and his wife, Christi, live in Concord, NC with their two children, Lili and Liam, their two dogs (Captain and Heimdall), and four cats (Hawkeye, Skywalker, Hannibal, and Yamizake).
